It does seem like rules are being selectively applied that keep benefiting Argentina. They are escaping a lot of cards that other players get. Still can’t believe they called off the goal in that Egypt game, that was ridiculous. Though I think the missed penalty that could have won it for Congo vs England was probably the worst I’ve seen. How could VAR not at least ask for a check there? That’s super sketchy.

Never deserved to be in the game in the first place. Should have lost to Cabo Verde. #13 Romero is a piece of trash (stood over England GK and taunted him after the 1st goal, and then told the ref to F himself later) . This World Cup has made me loathe Argentina. F them.
England had no energy or fire in the last 20 minutes of that game.
They bunkered. Stupid decision. Same kind of thing they criticized and then fired Southgate for after the last WC.

I REALLY took a disliking to Romero. Total trash player.
I wasn’t able to fully watch the match, but going so conservative, so early is a terrible tactical decision in a semi-final match like this. Especially against a team that can score late.
Hate to single out a player, but on the first goal, Anderson goes out to double team Messi and leaves Fernandez all alone at the top of the box. He never should have gotten the ball so cleanly or with so much time and space.
The whole “FIFA fixed it for Argentina” nonsense is silly.
Have you watched a single minute of their matches? It’s not blatant, but whatever is one step below blatant is the word I would use. I hope they lose SO bad Sunday.
