Spring Football Practice

Pics and article from today.

Video from today’s practice.

Also, here is a link to the 2016 Spring prospectus.

QB is gonna be fun to watch for sure.

5 QBs. Hmmmm… not sure I’ve ever heard of such a situation. Just hope the best one rises to the occasion and we get some wins next year that we didn’t, but should have, gotten last year.

Noticed that Olsen had a brace on his left knee. Any cause for concern there?

McNeil isn’t going to be the QB, so make it Barden, Klugh, Olsen and Keith.

I think it’s just for precaution, I remember when he was at Miami he wore one and seemed fine.

Are all 5 QBs on scholarship?

So had Matt officially transitioned to another position?

He’s listed as Running Back Matt Johnson - Football - Charlotte Athletics

Charlotte 49ers’ Matt Johnson welcomes change from quarterback to running back

He seems to have a great attitude about it as usual.

Kid is a true team player and a winner through and through. From what I can see from the fans perspective.

Matt is a winner. I am a fan.

Despite his play, Matt really deserves better than what he got dealt last year.

His attitude is really inspiring, I hope he has a great year.

I have never seen anyone use the “Q” on our license plates for anything meaningful before. It is sad that it no longer works for her. It is also sad that we got “Q” and Clemson got “C”.

Matt Johnson and his family have always handled themselves with class. Too often in these situations we see the parents of the athlete make asses of themselves, I’m very glad this is not the case. Even back to when he was in HS I was told by opposing coaches and reporters that he was always the same way. Classy.
Glad to see he is attacking his new position with enthusiasm. As for the QB race I guess it is now down to 4 so it’ll be interesting to see who rises to the top out of that crop.

I’d like to see Matt Johnson join the radio team after this season and be a color commentator similar to Jobey but for football games. It be nice to have an alumni on the call.

Greg at practice today. Happy to have him around to (hopefully) keep his brother’s head on straight.

Very cool
