Well, if you truly are Kyle Church’s cousin, then maybe you have some inside knowledge, but if you know that KJ plans to transfer, then so do the coaches and I wouldn’t expect to keep him around with that knowledge. So, I doubt he is planning to leave. Normally, I would wish Trevin luck, however not if he is going to Davidson. Also, isn’t there some rule about not offering a player on another team’s roster a scholarship? Terrence Williams is indeed one of our top targets for next year. There is a story in the FREE local paper in the Mountain Island area that covers West Meck about Coach Major contacting Williams and his coach shortly after being named head coach. I can’t find the story online but read it in print. THey may not post stories until a week or so after.
If Va Tech was recruiting him, I would imagine that was Odom’s duty. He appears to have been their lead recruiter for this area. Williams seems like he has high-major potential.
if we can land this kid or daniels or the kid from georgia, that center from virginia, at small forward maybe deshawn stitt or nickerson, a quality power forward and one other decent player then this will be a great class.
I firmly believe we’ll start landing the local guys we zero in on. I’m talking T williams and T Lewis. This staff will not get pre-occupied by the quick fix. I’m on board for sure… Based on what I’ve seen and heard form current players and others.
