I wonder how many cycles this battery can take while being charged this fast. It’s certainly not being charged to maximum capacity. I’m sure there are papers on it and I’ll have to read up on it. Battery degradation is a real problem, especially with current recycling efficacy.
I imagine that it’s quick due to CC charging but the important part is CV, which takes a while.
This is huge news.
One of the biggest obstacles to battery manufacturing in the USA was that China and other countries had all the Lithium.
Not anymore.

The Cybertruck is perhaps one of the biggest missteps in corporate history. Tesla had the opportunity to create a great EV pickup truck and further own the EV market. Instead, they pushed that thing out and it’s been a total disaster.
On its own, maybe that was survivable, but pair that with their CEO embedding himself into politics and the fall from grace for Tesla is something that will be studied in business classes for decades.
All the cyber truck needs is a Flux Capacitor .
