This. I wanted an experienced head coach at some level. Not another gimmick hire.
That is what I said before price was hired.
Now that he is here I wish him all the best and hope he does great.

One thing I will say is that I LOVE how candid and honest Coach Price is in the post game interview. Tonight he flat out said guys went braindead and did not do what they were taught to do, especially on the defensive end. He also pointed out the missed foul call on our shot at the end of the first half. That is great to hear after Major always taking the politically correct way around questions.
I hope and I think that he can succeed as our coach. He just has to get some recruits.

Nice turnout tonight. Better luck next time. I also love that the coach is holding players accountable. Eventually it will click or he will find other players. This game was tough to watch. Davidson was hot, especially Jack GibbsâŚand we just werenât. We are young and it showsâŚbut I trust Price. Listening to his post game press conference gives me hope that we will be better. This year will be rough, and next year may be too if we do not get some good big men to commit; but eventually we will be good. I just hope its sooner rather than later.
Price didn't give up when everyone thought he was too short to be an average college playerand I'm sure it took a lot of work and dedication to become great in the NBA. Let's calm down and give the coach some support. He knows the game and I'm sure he can recognize talent. The hand he was dealt this year is pretty cruel. Their offense being sporatic doesn't worry me as much as the defense. That being the current state of our team doesn't mean it will end this year that way. Defense can be taught and only needs hustle and a realization that defense wins games. I believe there is offensive talent on this team but the defense continues to put them behind the 8 ball. Davidson was hot beyond belief and when every shot went in you could see the air being let out of our balloon. Having their exulted one in attendance surely was part of their motivation. Uchebo is our best player with potential from White, Vanhook, and Scott. Sullivan is serviceable and I'd have to flip a coin on Cambridge and Davis. The rest I really worry about. With Price I believe several of the youngsters will bloom so all we need is bigs for next year.
