Finished 3 Body Problem last night.
4.5 stars.
I want more.

Also saw where Netflix is remaking Talented Mr Ripley as a limited series called Ripley. Doesn’t seem old enough for that. And how are you going to improve upon a cast that included Matt Damon, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, a young and top of her game hot Gwyneth Paltrow, and the always amazing Philip Seymour Hoffman?

That movie had some weird parts at the end, but the setup was absolutely superb. Having a hard time seeing why it needed to be remade.
Maybe it’s an expansion.
Isn’t there more than one Ripley novel?

Bummer, but the right decision if they didn’t have a good story / script.
Shogun episode 8 tonight was intense.
Yea that had me on the edge of my seat. Can’t wait to see where it goes the last two episodes.
That seemed like such an extreme to go to in order to sell Toranaga’s surrender.
FWIW, I think Ochiba No Kata (mother to the heir), is gonna throw in with Toranaga and it’s going to tilt this in his favor.

Anyone else stoked for The Sympathizer on HBO which starts this weekend?

What is it about?

Eurasian man (French father Vietnamese mother but raised as Vietnamese cause father not in the picture) is a captain in the south Vietnamese army. He is an intelligence officer trained by CIA and working with CIA over the course of the war and is an aid to a top general.
He’s secretly a spy for the north. When the south falls he’s ordered to go to the US with his general and collect intel.
And then all sorts of interesting things occur.
There are four key parts that are Caucasian men.
All four parts will be played by Robert Downey junior.
Should be great opportunity for him to strut his stuff. All the characters are drastically different.
It’s a fantastic book. In my top 10 easily.
Started watching “Fallout” on Amazon Prime. Only seen one episode and I know nothing of the video game. So far, I’m liking it.
Fool Me Once limited series on Netflix was pretty good. Plus, main character is very easy on the eyes.
