The Waterfront on Netflix is a good watch.
Along the lines of Ozark.

It’s being filmed in the Wilmington area like Dawson’s Creek was.

And Southport.

I didn’t think I would like it as I thought it was possibly over hyped but The Chosen is a really well made and interesting series. I am on season 3 the last episode and it is more about the people around Jesus and their interaction with him and others. Give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed. The locations and how they depict the various groups are historically very accurate.

Yeah, I tried to imply Southport too with the word “area”. :clapper_board:

Have friends in Wilmington and the now retired wife worked in the film and TV industry there. :film_projector:

Second this. Only two episodes left. It’s good.

It’s like a cross between Ozark, Tulsa King and Sons of Anarchy.

I started Waterfront over the holiday. I’m liking it. Of course, I’m watching right on the heels of finishing Ozark so I’m enjoying the similar theme.

Topher Grace’s character is hilariously evil !

Grace plays evil well.

Ozark was special. Love love love that show and Batemans character.
