Iām with you - the episodes are too short. They leave too much for the next episode, stopping the story mid-scene this week for example.
There are exactly two issues with the show:

Show runner insists on putting at least one unnecessary gross out / shock / cheap laugh moment in each episode - these arenāt in the books and I think theyāre unnecessary and take away from the show.

Thatās literally it. Everything else is approaching perfection. You can defeat issue #2 by binging the show now.
My advice to my friend who was waiting to binge it was to sign up just ahead of the final episode so he can watch the finale live after binging the other 5 just before it airs. That way you will experience the finale with everyone else without having to suffer through the wait like the rest of us. Itās a perfect show to binge 3 episodes of that Saturday and then the final 3 on that Sunday.
The gross out moment this episode was meant as a humiliation for Dunk, which reinforced the power of the Targarians. I havenāt read the book but it summed up what the powers-that-be think of the hedge knights in general. They are looked at as less than, which makes what I assume will happen in the next episode all the more important.

Started a new Nordic Noir show called Bordertown. Set in Finland near the border with Russia. So far quite good.
Is it dubbed in English or subtitles?
I think they have both available. I always use subtitles. Canāt stand dubbing.

Will have to check this one out. Currently watching the new Lincoln Lawyer season. If I watch a show in a foreign language using subtitles I find I have to really pay attention. Canāt be doom scrolling, etc because Iāll miss something.
If you havenāt checked out The Bridge (the danish version) the first two seasons of that are must see Nordic Noir.

The Pitt is pretty good (I have some criticisms), but AKOTSK is the best show goingā¦ therefore there is no way it will win.
Iāve never posted on this thread, and I know the show is from 2002, but if you havenāt watched āthe wireā, youāre doing yourself a disservice. Greatest show in TV history, and arguably the greatest thing ever put on film. Iām watching for the 16th time.

Also for GoT / AKOTSK fans - the actors are doing press, and the kid that plays Egg is dropping massive spoilers supposedly by mistake, so beware!
Also the things Iāve heard / read have reinforced some of the long term fan theories for the AKOTSK storyline - which no one knows for sure yet because GRRM hasnāt written the ending yet. This is rekindling the era and excitement of some of the best fan theories from GoT (including R+L=J).
