You gotta read all the other stuff that raises red flags - getting booted off basketball teams both in college and prep school for disrupting team chemistry, multiple criminal charges (gun charges, marijuana possession, weighing paraphenalia for selling drugs), jail time …
…and some stuff is just plain eyebrow raising. Driving a Cadillac in high school with 3 televisions, parents who were drug dealers, a brother who is in prison for dealing heroin, getting brought in for questioning in a murder investigation… Trouble seems to hang over this kid like a cloud. His latest juco coach swears that Evans is turning his life around. I hope he’s right.

FWIW - I head Bobby’s interviews this year and last year and it flows much more comfortably and candidly than Lutz Live once they get into it. They really do a good job.

Kent State coach Geno Ford has completed his staff with the hiring of Motlow Community College head coach Bobby Steinburg. Don’t be shocked if Ford makes a play for Tyree Evans, who played at Motlow last season and wasn’t allowed into Maryland due to a troubled past.
