Probably not possible, but would be interesting if they could make him more involved during the game, somehow.
Just put him on the third row⌠behind the visitorsâ bench.
How dare he bring spark to the entertainment juggernaut that is college baseball?
+1
Well played eason.
Well, this is true. Of course, we could still hear him in the press box at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.
TF, just think of the positive effect it will have if you let Mr Uh-Huh do a âI LOVE THIS PLACE⌠UH-HUHâ cheer from the announcerâs booth during baseball games.
Just put him on the third row... behind the visitors' bench.
Give him season tickets - for the first row behind the visitorsâ bench. Uh-Huh Guy is the greatest!
He is annoying.
He made me sick at the USC Baseball Playoffs, & Iâm a Niner Fan.
To hell w/ him.

I think so, too. I always see him at half way through the second half of every game with his sign around Section 221. It would be kind of cool if he can help with getting the alumni side going with cheers (since the student side has issue about how quiet and inactive from us most of the time).
love him - he is a reason why college athletics is special. each university needs a couple of crazies to ignite the crowd - whatever the sport. whoever does the videos MUST produce a video of him in action, uh-huh! heâs always positive, always energized, always cheering for the Niners. makes you wonder what the rest of us lame-asses are doing sitting on our hands.
I first saw him at the Kannapolis Intimidators games a couple of years back. I was wearing a Charlotte shirt, of course, and he came up to me and proceeded to tell me that his son was going to attend Charlotte. The SIU game was the first time Iâve seen him sinceâŚone more fan for the NinersâŚIâm down with Uh-Huh.
If Uh-Huh guy is supporting your team ---- he is GREAT.
If Uh-Huh guy is against your team ---- he is more annoying than fingernails on a chalkboard, Tarheel wine and cheesers, DIck Vitale and Mark Packer.

Nail on the head. Iâve been to games of all sports where there is an âuh-huhâ guy annoying the visiting fans. They are not amusing to them at all, and I imagine they become embarrasing to some of the home fans. Since he has the Hibbs seal of approval, the âuh-huhâ guy will be around for a while.
I love how pissed off he got the South Carolina fans at last years NCAA tournament. They were ready to beat his ass for real. The South Carolina police talked to him and told him to tone it down (instead of telling the USC fans not to resort to violence). I wanted us to stick up for him but there werenât many of us. After that, fans really got to shouting UH-HUH a lot whenever the chance arose. Classic stuff. Itâs got me really looking forward to baseball season now.
If he does that at the wrong park, heâs likely to get a real beat-down from the opposing fans and possibly the cops. Several of the gulf coast schools have very hostile fans to begin with. Iâve been told stories about the Tulane and Auburn fans when past Niner teams have played there. They are not hospitable in the least, and they especially donât like rowdies from the other team making lots of âunnecessaryâ noise in their parks.
He is a nice guy, and probably okay at basketball games, but he is unbelievably, soul-crushingly annoying at baseball games. I wanted to chuck him down the stairs on more than one occasion at Hayes Stadium last spring. Gotta love the passion, but he needs to tone it down. A lot.
I donât wish any harm upon him, but yelling it after every call/pitch/play is over the top. It becomes more of a taunting than a cheer when itâs done to that extreme, and thatâs the way the visitors will see it.
Whatâs up with this guy? Havenât seen him at any games this year.
If you summon that clown to section 109, I will find you and eliminate you.
I havenât seen him since Presbyterian.
He was at the menâs basketball scrimmage. We are stuck with him until he dies, I fear.
I donât think he gets much attention at football games.
I donât think he gets much attention at football games.
Oh, he likes attention? I hadnât noticed that.
I saw him at the Temple game behind the far goal posts annoying the heck out of some fans. The folks ended up moving somewhere else.
He was probably behind the goal post so he could retrieve the football just in case it made it over the net.
He was probably behind the goal post so he could retrieve the football just in case it made it over the net.
Knocking over some poor kid in the process, UH-HUH.
He was probably behind the goal post so he could retrieve the football just in case it made it over the net.
He would be busy because the ball rarely is caught by the net (goes over most every time).
He was there yesterday, Uh-Huh.
