He was probably behind the goal post so he could retrieve the football just in case it made it over the net.
He would be busy because the ball rarely is caught by the net (goes over most every time).
Yeah, our ball net polls seem to be about 10â too short and the net has a hell of a sag in the middle. Something close to 8â of sag.

The net is one thing that really irks me about an otherwise really beautiful stadium. They are utterly useless because the ball always goes over them, and the two black poles they hang from are just flat out butt-ugly.
I just hope when we get that first really big win at home, the students charge the field and tear down the net-poles, not the goal-posts!

I have left a baseball game to simply remove myself from him. He is terrible. For all his schtick pisses me off, attention grabbing and kid pushing, it was his Miami shit in the salons that crossed the line.
He was at a womenâs b-ball game one time, the menâs b-ball team came in to watch, & he started talking smack about their loss to Miami about a week before. WTH? I know he went to Miami, but you donât smack talk a team you say you like.
My wife and I had to move seats during a basketball game since he was so loud. The staff at the game actually come and told us to move if we wanted to move because of him. They told us he is a pain every game and makes it hard for people to enjoy the game.

Iâll pay his airplane fare if he wants to move back.
I think itâs comical that other schools in the state will throw a fan out if they yell during the home teams FTâs but we donât do anything about a guy thatâs making the experience horrible for those around him. :

He is in with them. He has their back. He defriended me on FB over my Judy and Major rants.

Iâm pretty sure he used to be a tarhole fan⌠until they would not let him back into the stadium after he left to chase down a foul ball. I recall being at a game down there and something like that happening.
Now he classifies them as âa bunch of communistsâ.
