MURMAIDER!!!

this thread offends me… it doesn’t take account for my love of R&B/Hip Hop/Rap…

Charlotte doesnt really get too many acts of that nature. Bassnectar? KEM and John Witherspoon…those are the only upcoming ones that come to mind. Trust, there is no intended prejudice toward such acts.

Best Concert I’ve seen (don’t see a lot though) was Usher about 6-8 years ago. He had Christina Millian, John Legend and Kanye West opening for him…

Pat McGee Band at Visulite Theater 10/16/09

I’m going to see Chevelle at Amos’. I’m fairly certain I’m going to be the oldest person in the place by 10 years.

will you be the creepy guy standing alone in the corner wearing a Members Only jacket staring at females 10-30 years your junior, making them feel uncomfortable.

What is the age cutoff to fill the spank bank without being called a dirty old man?

What is the age cutoff to fill the spank bank without being called a dirty old man?

As a general rule of thumb, if you are the only one there old enough to be their dad.

The official formula is:

Age of girls <= (X+7)/2

Where X = your age.

True story.

I’m going to see They Might Be Giants saturday night and The Get Up Kids in November.

Colin Hay 10/2 @ neighborhood Theater. He’s actually pretty good. And I’m sure he’ll do a men at work song just for the old farts

The Whigs 12/8 @ Visulite. Solid GA based rock band.

Psychadellic Furs & Happy Mondays 10/3 @ Amos’ Southend. Relive a little 80’s/early 90’s. Happy Monday’s lead singer (Shawn Ryder) is fat, ugly, usually drunk and always nuts. If you like Gorillaz, he did half the vocal for “Dare” and that’s his ugly head in the video.

Social Distortion 10/21 @ Amos - I haven’t seen them play in a decade, but they were damn good last time I saw them. You probably know their songs, even if you dont think so. This is one of those you’ll probably have a better time than you expected shows.

Into you like a train
