This might have been one of our best games offensively with the exception of so-so FT shooting. Shot over 50% FGs, 11-25 on 3s, and 20 assists. Donāt recall a single shot clock violation either.
The job Sanchez has done with this team and program canāt be overstated
Had a ball today. Thanks to Clayton for tickets, Dave for the beer and the Delta Sigs for not calling the police to report a creepy old man crashing their snow tailgate.
Pretty sure Young wrapped up another FOTW with his performances this week vs the UT schools. At this point, donāt see anyone challenging him for 2020 C-USA freshman of the year.
Happy to see us be able to win an offensive slug fest.
BTW, was surprised to see us in āCarolina Blueā (playersā warm up shirts and coachesā ties) but those are the colors associated with prostate cancer awareness and the Mike Slive Foundation.
I think the team is fun to watch (at home) and wins are especially fun. 12-1 at home?
We were 11-25 44% from 3pt. You expect better?
Shepherd 5-7 from 3pt was huge. He had been one of the weakest % 3pt shooters up until this point.
Refs called way to many fouls. Way to many FT in that game.
Glad to see both our basketball and football squads will end with winning seasons this season. Enjoying the progress
After both were picked to finish last or next to last in the Conference.
Thatās right. If we win, Iām having fun. We still need to quit having shitty FT shooting games.
Also the refs were calling fouls for Jackson even when he wasnāt fouled. That was BS. It looked
like a good crowd from section 215. Anybody get the official attendance numbers?
4,679 per David Scott
Thatās good. A lot more reasonable that some of the recent numbers.
Looked like more on plus. How did it look in the arena?
clt is impressed we had so many people there during a snow storm
Looked like a good crowd, but Iāve kind of lost perspective. The football games were really announced low this season and the bāball games too. Iām assuming the new standard is butts in the seats. I would have guessed tonight would have been 6K easily counting season tickets holders not attending.
Good crowd in terms of numbers and game involvement. Loud and supportive. I know the team loved it and fed off it. Brought back feelings and memories from the good olā days of NINER basketball.
David Scott? Surprised he suggested over 1,000. What a hater.
Winning is Fun!!
Amazing what happens when you have a leader that prioritizes winning - you win.
Literally the only thing Mike Hill hasnāt done is land a big whale donor.
