Those Memphis (and now Kentucky) fans saying how could Calipari have known about this conveniently leave out the shenanigans surrounding Dozier’s SAT scores that recently came out (see: [URL]http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=4233718[/URL] in case you missed it, the best part is the SAT folks made him retake the test and he went from a 1260 to a 720. Hmmmmmmmm).
That makes two recruits that probably had someone else take their test for them. Even though it was Georgia that later denied Dozier entrance after he signed there, don’t forget that he just happened to be verbally committed to Memphis when the first test was taken.

Why do they never get probation? It sure would help just to strip them of 4 scholarships for a season.

It looks like Memphis will have to give back about $600k to the NCAA for their tournament appearances (disappearances?). If they do they are going after Cal for the $300k bonus he got for the season. I guess no wins = no bonus. That is about five weeks pay for him, but it makes me feel better.
