Wes Miller Named Head Coach Of Charlotte 49ers Men’s Basketball

Wouldn’t surprise me. Just the way it is now.

I like Bonke, but I think he will struggle in a P5 conference unless he significantly improves his handles/hand strength. He fumbles the ball way too often when he’s challenged.

Yeah, I agree. Those numbers get used without clarification what they actually are.

There use to be issues with foreign players on visa taking NIL and rev sharing payments. Did that get worked out? Seems like a bigger issues than NCAA since it involves visa eligibility?

Maybe Bonke will change his mind now that we have a new coach in place. That’s the next challenge for us, how many players will stay?

No, NIL as it pertains to international college players has not been worked out.

I would be pleasantly surprised if Bonke returns. I am guessing someone is going to throw a bunch of money his way. Hopefully we can get a couple of guys to stay though and Miller can bring in some talent.

It will be interesting to see Miller’s salary contract

But seriously is there anyone on that cinci roster that he would target to poach? I figure the new guy they hire will want to clear house anyway. Just wondering if anyone stood out.

I imagine he’d take several if they’d come with him. Cincinnati had a talented roster. A few posters seem to think jizzle James will follow him.

Change the title of this thread to reflect Miller is now the new coach.

I can’t wait to hear the decisions from our players, as well as news of transfers from Cincinnati and/or new recruits. Fun times.

Wes Miller was 125-43 in his final 5 seasons at UNCG. I would be cool with that here!

That’s nice, because most of our winds lately have smelled like methane.
