What caused the technical foul at the end of the game?

Any ideas? Coach or players? What caused it? It really cost us the game.

According to Lutz post game…we had 6 men on the floor…which isnt even suppose to be a Tech but thats how the last 8 games have gone

6 men on the floor. After a timeout.

Yeah, I know.

I think it does not really matter the real story will bei f he resigns tomorrow

Apparently GW had a 6 men on the court technical against Dayton tonight too. They did that once before against Dayton and it cost them the game. Just a killer mistake.

inexfuckingcusable.

Bobby drew this up during the timeout. Nothing new when you compare it to the other plays called after a time out.

…Derrio, I want you to put on this invisibility cloak and Shamari, you kick it out to him on the right wing. Derrio, since you’ll be invisible, nobody will see you and you’ll be wide open.

…Derrio, the cloak…

DERRIO YOU FORGOT YOUR GODDAMNED INVISIBILTY CLOAK!!! (slams whiteboard to the ground)

I know I didn’t quote that right. STFU IDGAF.

So who was on the floor that shouldn’t have been? (besides Lutz)

stupidity?

BAHAHAHAHA Thanks for that- needed the chuckle this morning. BAHAHAHAHA

Our players will probably be graded really low on the “Awareness” slider in the next video game.

I would guess Wilderness, since he was trying to slide off the court to the bench as the tech was getting called. The ref also pointed at him when he made the call.

Or maybe he was the only heads up player who realized that we had 6 on the court and tried to get off.

We almost always have the five guys who are going to be in the game sitting during the time out. I would love to see a replay, to see if we had 6 guys sitting in the time out and nobody notice. Or was one additional player told to go in as the time out was ending and he wasn’t told who to grab, etc.

LOL

Lutz was making offense/defense subs at this point and had told 2 players on the bench to report in when the timeout was first called. Obviously 2 people were not told to come off of the court, resulting in the confusion.

Regardless of what happened, this is a coaching mistake. Lutz and the assistants are responsible for making sure 5 guys are on the court and even if 6 walk out, there was time to get it corrected. The problem was the ball was inbounded with 6 still on the court.

In the end, I still think they would have lost the game despite this huge error.

Yup. It was stupid and a mistake by Lutz and the staff. However, we probably weren’t going to win either way.

We actually had six players on the court the whole game. The refs didn’t care until the final minute.

What I want to know is why we had Braswell on the bench almost half the game, and most of the second half? Shamari was sitting almost as much as Braswell. WTF???

Falls on the coach, period. There’s no other way to accurately shift blame.

Just out of curiosity though (my view was partially blocked), did the ref call the T before the ball was given to a player for the inbounds? Or was it after the ball was given? Seems like the refs saw it coming and just waited until they were certain we weren’t correcting it. I guess they could have been kind and given Lutz a signal or something but since when have the refs ever done in anything in our favor?

Just seems so blatantly easy for someone on the coaching staff to realize there are 6 white jerseys on the court. How you allow that to happen is mindblowing.
