If the article says some donât think he should be resigned, there will be outrage over here and it will someone how be âproofâ that the Observer is out to get us, I am sure. I get frustrated with the observer and all but some of this is just petty.
The reality is, there are two sides to the Lutz issue and theyâre in our alumni base as well as within the community. This topic here shows that more then ever. I know some on here feel Mike was trying to instigate something or sell papers, but he is right. Some on here flip out about any negative news related to us or Bobby.

Mike, I have never given you any crap about the ObserverâŚalthough I do agree that you should give the hometown team more coverageâŚbut that being said, I HOPE HOPE HOPE this is not a controversial article written on the OPENING day of the season. I assume is has something to do with Bobbyâs situation based on what you have said, but I think it would be very distasteful if there is some controversy in who thinks he should be here and who thinks he shouldnât.
I will save my judgment until I read the articleâŚsince itâs OPENING DAY I expect an article about getting to know all the new players we have on our roster and what they think about the upcoming season. I would have interviewed Lee and asked him what are the differences with this team compared to last season and why he thinks we will be better.
I could understand an article in February about his situation if we have won a hand full of games, but now would not be the right time.
Weâll see what is says tomorrow.
