Where did you live (on campus) when you were in school?

92-93: Hawthorne
93-94: Hawthorne
94-95: Moore
95-96: Hawthorne
96-97: Colville III Apartment

Scott 5th Floor '05/'06 … but we didn’t make any rap like these (fellow Queen City) guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ujKxpAvLKg

98’ - 99’ Poplar Hall International floor before it was Witherspoon
99’ - 00’ UT North

We had this happen quite a few times … I got quite adept at sleeping through the alarm (probably not a good thing).

Hawthorne '02-'03
Oak '03-'04
Campus Edge '04-'07

03-04 Sycamore Hall
04-05 Smurf Village

Off campus ever since.

05-06 Barrington Place
06-07 Bridges at Mallard Creek
07-08 Colonial Grande at Mallard Creek

1988-1991 Vinca Circle (Colville)
1991-1992 house on Chambwood Drive
just after graduation, briefly back to Colville again

08-09 Lynch 4th floor
09-10 Hunt Village G building.

10-12 UWalk. The apartment complex run by morons.

Couple of years at Poplar Hall.

Freshman: Smurf
Sophomore Fall: Lambda Chi house (on Bonnie Cone Ln)
Sophomore Spring: Sanford

After I came back to school, I was off campus the whole time…
Junior: Piedmont @ Ivy Meadow (Across from Faires Farm Rd)
Senior: Bridgestone Apartments (Harris Blvd)

Squires Fr.
U-Club So&Jr
My own house Sr

Which room? That was my floor the same year.

02/03: 515 Moore
03/04: M201 Martin Village
Off campus after that.

Everyone should do the high rises for at least a semester or two. I met some really good friends my freshman year (and still keep in touch with quite a few of them), and it really puts you in a situation where you can make friends quickly, and you wind up doing a lot more stuff on/around campus as a consequence. Word travels fast when you’ve got forty people on a floor.

I second this.

Witherspoon Hall
Elm Hall

Witherspoon was a phenomenal place to be a freshman. You had Honors students, Internationals, General Population, Upperclassman, and the Basketball team. Wouldn’t trade my time there for anything.

University Club 1998-2002

1101 Mo heezie. Penthouse, baby! (For first year, then off campus (mistake))

I second this.[/quote]

Funny. I remember being told in SOAR in 08 that you want to avoid the high rises at all costs. I was originally assigned to Moore 7th floor but after hearing that I joined a learning community so I could live in Lynch.

I really enjoyed my semester in Scott. Made lots of friends that I still keep up with to this day. Only reason I moved out was because the majority of my friends moved out too. My only regret was that I chose not to live on campus as a freshman cause now I realize how epic it would have been.

Think I’ll push my future kids and my nephew towards living on campus wherever they go to school.

The dorms were at capacity when I was finally accepted, so I had the choice of a study room with no door / security until a room opened up or to get an off campus apartment.

$295 for my own bedroom and bathroom with central air conditioning, washer, dryer, and dishwasher in a brand new development with a pool, weight room and basketball court was hard to pass up at that point.
