Agreed…but, at the moment, he is still the Charlotte 49ers mens basketball coach, so I am certainly “Pro-Lutz”

You would flirt too if Judy was the AD and didn’t give you an extension making you a lame duck. It has nothing to do with the school or area.

Maybe I would. But who in the world honestly believes he DESERVES an extension? After the last couple of years? He basically stole from us…

No offense but Bobby is a lame duck because he isn’t winning. He won, got an extension and looked for every out possible and now is blaming everything but himself for the fact that we are losing. If he wants out he can go to USA and we’ll go find someone who wants to coach here and win.

honestly - i dont even know anymore - i’m just waiting to see how this thing unfolds

if we keep him and win ill be happy
if we lose him and get someone who wins ill be happy

It doesn’t seem like there is ever a good time to change coaches, your going to lose recruits no matter when you do it. I guess if I had a choice I’d like to lose recruits after a under 500 year and not after Bobby’s contract runs out and we could have won a few games the previous season.

I’m in the middle…want him here for another year to see where this thing can go…but like others have said…MUST see improvement (not in wins…but in play in general)

I’ll tell you this much…If Bobby stays…after a second flirt with another program…and doesnt bring something to the table a few games into next year…its gonna get ugly around here!

Thats the $64K question, and I cannot see how we could answer yes when he chooses the opening day of recruit signing to look for another job.

If we had no one signing yesterday then I really don’t understand this argument… Maybe the students signing were not able to sign yesterday because of school or something. I mean I know I’m optimistic, but this ain’t that big of a stretch. I think those that want to see him gone are wanting to believe this is a valid argument.

I have to say, even if you are against Lutz, would you really like to see him go at this point of the year? I think we missed the national coach shuffle by a few weeks… Not to mention, we are in the signing period, if recruits leave, how many would we have to find in addition to the two empties we have now? I know we don’t have to use all of the scholarships, but we need a certain number of players.

why not worry about it and just give lutz his 1 year extension that he wants. Seriously that is all the man wants he is a great guy, good coach, and his heart and family are in charlotte. All of those signs tell me he wants to stay. i think everyone should rally behind him and call judy and phil dubois and tell him how much you really like lutz.

basically its 110 to 31 of people in favor of lutz or who thinks he should have a chance to turn it around. guys we need to back lutz up now more than ever.

Really? Looks to me that around 57% aren’t pro-Lutz, per the polls options. Nice spin though.

If he has a contract he should be doing his job, whether he has one year left or one more.
