We had some of our best moments last year when we pressed and ratcheted up the defensive intensity. His coaching style would seem to fit our existing talent pretty well.
If he can get people to show up at UT Chattanooga he should be able to get them to show up here.
Posted this on another topic, looks like he was the 2014 Southern Conference coach of the year. He’s from Nashville, Tennessee and a graduate from Clemson in 2005. He was director of basketball operations there for 2006/2007. He was an assistant coach under Tommy Amaker at Harvard in 07/08 and 08/09 where he was the [size=1em][font=arial]recruiting coordinator[/font][/size]. He was hired by Shaka in 2009 at VCU and stayed there until 2013 when he was hired at Chattanooga as head coach.
His wife is originally from Charlotte. :o
Simple google search resulted in a salary of $187k with UTC…how high can we go?
Also Wade’s lead assistant at UTC coaches at Queens for 8 years.

Well, if those don’t sound like “hey, you got me…” responses, I don’t know what do. I think Im starting to believe its all but official.
That said, If he can bring over 6K to games in Chattanooga, he can do that in Charlotte if he brings wins.

He’s not a big splash name, but he appears young, energetic, and has a fast tempo style of play. Maybe he’s just what we need.
