WOW... NICE JOB BOBBY LUTZ

I felt Bobby Lutz lost the game by keeping Goldwire in the game and letting him keep shooting. A great adjustment by getting other players involved. We can’t rely on Lee all the time.

Great NINERS chants at the end. This will HELP A TON at the end of the year!

Keep proving your critics wrong Coach Lutz!

I guess he wanted to stick it back to Clemson.

Cluck Femson!

I agree. Nice game all around. Coaching, offense, and defense. We need to get better at the line.

I have been critical of Bobby, but I will give credit when it’s due, great win tonight for the program. Great job Bobby for preparing the guys! Very proud of the way we responded after Saturday!

I’ve thought all along that 9-5 should be the bar for OOC. The funny thing is we did it thru the backdoor going 2-1 vs ACC.

Now the 2nd season starts, lets hope for 11-5. :toast:

agreed, the beauty tonight is we were not good from 3, but got it done with 2 pointers.

Lee had a quiet 21.

We were 4-14 from 3.

Clemson was 4-20.

When was the last time we took less 3’s than an opponent, and when did we make a good 3-shooting team go 25% from behind the line? We passed the ball as a team the best I have seen in quite some time. 13 assists according to GameTracker, but it seemed like more.

Wonder how big Lutz’s smile was when he shook the hands of Rivers, Stitt and Oglesby.

Congrats Bobby, great win!!!

They really plaed well tonight. Give Lutz his due, well coached game.

People stepped up, just hope they become more consistent.

I think our team responds better to the D played by Clemson. We have trouble scoring on half court sets, and even though we did that some, we got alot of points when their defense wasn’t set. Maryland played a very conservative defenseive style that forced us into the halfcourt and just focused on Lee. I think Lutz outcoached Purnell badly tonight.

I seem to recall a thread where we always lost when shooting something like 20 or more 3’s. That held true tonight…

Emphasis was on coming out strong from the beginning and showing them we’re not here just to hang around. We’re here to win the game. Bobby Kummer scout during pregame. That’s exactly what we did up 10-2 with a great run to finish the 1st half.

Great win on the road!!! :49ers::49ers:

4-14 from 3 is like going 6-14 from 2 or 44%…I’ll take that all day…much better than last Saturday and it sounded like most the 3’s were great looks. 13 assists and 15 turnovers…nice!!
