[COLOR=black][SIZE=2]I was playing GTA4 and the game just froze on the screen, after I turned off my Xbox and tried to play another game. I put COD4 in the same thing happened again. So I let it just sit over night and try to play again today, and after GTA4 froze I tried to restart the Xbox but it just gave me the red lights (3 of them). Which per Microsoft means a hardware failure, and that means that I get it fixed for free. :biggrin: [/SIZE][/COLOR]

Guys, do all of us a favor. Get rid the cheap plastic Xbox and get a real machine. PS3!!! Trust me all your red ring of death problems will go away. The PS3 was built to last longer than 6 months.

I was playing Guitar Hero 3 when i got the ring of death, but i had my xbox for over 2 years before it did the red ring of death.

I have a lot of games but online i mainly play COD:4 or GoW or GTA4 or Halo 3. Sometimes ill play NCAA 2k8 or NHL 2008 or Fifa 2008 but thats about it.

I’ve got a PS3, all it does is collect dust. Even now that my 360 is RROD, I still can’t muster up the strength to play any exclusives on ps3.
i got the 3 red lights after 3 years of great play. then what? i got a new one for free that was hdmi compatible. they replaced everything except the hard drive with my games on it. i’ll stay that route. not to mention the entire city that will be available for download…except for being exclusive to 360…all i know is people with 360s talk about them, but no one will ever beg you or campaign for you to get a 360. ps3 owners are begging for people to join them since they’re alone…hence the fact that through this entire topic it’s happened once. i’d rather go a month without playing my 360 to get a free new one than to go months on end without playing ps3 because no one else plays and the exclusives…well…dont even exist.

With my 360 broken until i can scrounge together $100 to get it fixed (I don’t have RROD, its a disc reading issue), I am going to wait for the PS4 before I get a new system. It’ll prolly be like 5 more years.
