The only thing I would be bitter about is owning such a crappy, waste of money.
But, it seems more that you’re the one who is bitter because you find yourself in the unenviable position of defending that waste of space.
Do you mean that crappy waste of money that will outsell the 360 when all said and done 3 to 1. What does that say about the RROD plastic box. And you are bitter because you know that there is nothing you can say to defend your 360 against the figures a true 3rd party source put in NinerWupAss article.
By the way TheLew1014 I’ve said several times I was going to let you guys get back to your RROD conversations but everytime I turn around one of you guys are posting to me about something. So please by all means someone enlighten us on what you were doing when your 360 kicked the bucket. Before you even respond with, we just send them back and get new 360, you do realize your warranty wiil run out, right? Then what will you do?
I guess you 360 guys have stay in the now because according to Cnet the future is PS3. 360 has already seen it’s best days. Sorry
I am a 360 guy and a Wii guy. To be honest I don’t understand the fuss. I love playing my 360 and I love the games and online experience. I am not impressed with the PS3, but I have no problem with PS3 jock sniffers. You enjoy your console and I will enjoy mine. In the end isn’t that all that matters? That you enjoy the system you have? If the 360 is #3 or #1 in 4 years I don’t really care as long as I am still enjoying the games that are coming out. I posted the link only because I found it interesting.
I still say it will be interesting to see when the major players decide to start the next gen. I know the article says 7 yrs on the consoles, but I have a buddy at MSFT that says they are already well on their way with RD on the replacement. Throw in with that the rumors that Apple wants in and it will make things interesting. Could Apple or MSFT force the new generation early? Forcing Sony to abandon the PS3 before it can truly prove popular? Or will the major players stay on the sideline long enough for the PS3 to see dominance as mentioned in the article? Even if it is 6 or 7 years that means we are approaching the half way mark for the 360 - certainly within their window of preparation for the next box. It seems to me that MSFT is still in the drivers seat with regards to the next round of consoles.

Every time I have sent mine back (about 3-4 times) they extend my warranty out for another year, and another 3 years for the hardware. Not to mention that I get a new Xbox 360. I even know someone that had sent in their 360 more than I have so Microsoft sent them an Elite version for the inconvenience.

I’ve heard about apple wanting to get into the video game market. But i think they are concentrating mainly on their touch screen items now. Latest rumor i’ve heard apple going after is a 12 to 13 inch tablet pc based off the iPhone and iPod Touch. should be a very interesting next couple of years in the video game market.
Just bought one. Will be playing grand theft auto tonight. If anyone wants to play online, I can do that too! Let me know how it works and stuff and i’ll se eya on there!
I’ll be getting to the new house today, and hooking up my 360 again. Just got GTA4, and Gears of War has probably arrived. Also looking in to getting Battlefield: Bad Company, cause it looks pretty fun.
And of course I have the usuals, Cod4, Halo3 (rarely), GH2/3/Rock Band, etc.
Ill be upgrading back to Gold when i get home from work tonight. I have GTA4 and FIFA 08. I have PGR4 rented. I will be getting Gears of War sometime soon, as well as COD4.
