I know Deuce was injured. What was wrong with him?
What sport? Do we still have basketball?
Sloppy Joes?
my deuce was just fine. Flushed right down.
rabble rabble rabble rabble rabble
I forgot we had a game. Seriously, this might be a first for me. This season can’t end soon enough.
Worst. Season. Ever.
Actually not really, we’ve been through this before.

Let that image burn in real good. Say it with me: “Never Again”!
If my saying “Never Again” could do anything to help prevent it, I’d be all for it.
Never again shall we lose to every single A10 team besides Fordham?

Close…but I think this team is worse. In fact, I’d say its the worst since 1985-86 (Mullins 1st season).

For me part of what makes this season so bad was the fact that at the start of the season I did not expect to be near this bad. Given what we had returning and our known limitations I thought we could finish middle of the pack and maybe be in NIT talk. Then I went to Charleston and I expected a 10 win season. Then we kicked Shamari off the team and I started to feel better about our chances and then then boom there goes Phil and the season. So for me it’s be the worst season because of the emotional swings.
We really have seen three different teams this year.
Team 1 - Shamari early season, definition of team disfunction
Team 2 - No Shamari and some good wins
Team 3 - No Phil, close losses followed by big losses
Ready for the season to end and move on with new players who have decent attitudes, go to class and are ready to represent Charlotte.

The way we were playing without Spears, but with Phil I thought we would be middle of the pack A10. I never thought at any point of the 08-09 season that we would be anywhere close to a .500 team.

That 08-09 team was 9 to 10 scholarship players deep, so you would expect more out of that team than one with just 8 players(and no true point guard), on top of that the 08-09 team was over .500 for a whopping two days, then we lost our 2nd game to ODU. Until Phil left this was a solid middle of the pack A10 team(I mean GW has 9 conference wins!!!). Don’t forget, before that season started we had high expectations after the 2008 A10 Tourney performance and making the NIT.
When you spend as much money, and give as much of your heart to the Niners as we all do you just have to look for some positives. For me, this season has been the perfect setup for Coach Major to make his A-10 Coach of the Year run next season. Nowhere to go but up!
This team was better than Mullins first when we still had Phil. Without him, I personally think we are worse.
FYI, Deuces status for Saturday is still questionable. We desperately need him on Saturday.
I can’t stand X but respect their program, and particularly the coaching factory they are. They are hitting on all cylinders now - good for Mack.
This is not the worst Niner team, by far. There were some real stinkers under Lutz. I remember a few seasons’ where teams would just lay down and quit. This years team has had a fair number of good games in spite of the controversy with Spears. I knew when Phil left that was it - to much imbalance to overcome.
The Niners weren’t on the radio on the drive home yesterday. WTF?
610 AM played the Bung Holes. Anyone driving would listen to FM, numb nuts, so 99.7 already had it covered.
1660 AM had a political talk show on the WI protests. I thought 1660 was for sports not politics.
We get the shaft for the Bung Holes & people skipping work in WI. Depression. Sets. In. On. Our. Irrelevance. :’(
