Wow so we have FOUR Pirates fans on NNN? I didn’t know they had four fans total! 
I traded baseball cards as a kid, but only watched sporadically. I did like the Oakland A’s of the Bash Brothers (Jose Canseco & Mark McGwire) & the Cincy Reds of Eric Davis, but I guess that shows my age.
I never was big into baseball, but the HR era made it tolerable. But now, it’s like watching grass grow again.
Yeah I saw that, I’m happy now. Hopefully it is someone on the Rays.

being born and raised in charlotte, i felt like i had a free choice to choose who my mlb team was this season, because i didn’t get interested in baseball until last years postseason. so after putting a lot of thought into it, because the local baseball team is the charlotte knights, and they’re under the white sox, i figured that’d be legit.

Fan since watching Brock and Gibby in the '67 and '68 World Series, shown DURING THE DAY. Actually watched the games in Elementary School. Imagine. The World Series was really the big thing back thing.
Braves mainly because my dad grew up in Savannah, Ga. and I also root for the Pirates cause my Mom grew up outside of Pittsburgh. The Pirates need a new owner and they need to stop trading all their all-stars away.

Tampa Bay Rays…lived about an hour south of Tampa for about 2 and a half years and have liked them ever since. Rays against the Yankees was the first ever MLB game I attended…Looks like they are only getting better…GO RAYS!
