thats what i thought too but it is in chat. tennesseeâŚeither way georgia is kicking ass, every member is playing like andrew has been for us
-8 so far today!!! (1pm) -13 overall sole possession of 6th. Every team seems to be doing well today, the conditions must be ideal.
I understand they bought some extra mulligans. And they paid off the refs too. Plus, I understand they have some hired monkees in the trees throwing any errant shot back onto the fairway.article: http://www.charlotte.com/sports/story/627983.html
I donât know what it was like in the printed edition, but why does Wake get the headline? This is ridiculous. I can somewhat understand UNC-CH basketball headlines. But Wake golf? Can we not at least get the headlines for golf? :ticked::ticked::ticked:
Just look at it this way⌠they published an article about 9 GREAT golf teams without a mention of Charlotte. As it stands now (2:30pm) only two of those 9 will continue (Wake Forest and Clemson).

Mike P. simply will not state we are better than the "other local teams" in any article........ even if it means doing an article on the "GREAT" programs in the state, while leaving us out of it. That way, unless the acc fans read the Niner stories, they never know the Niners are better. AND SOME OF YOU WONDER WHY WE HAVE TROUBLE GETTING ANY RESPECT.
this makes me angry
The âclownâ always complains and cries when we get on his case about coverage for the hometown team. Itâs kind of quite simple for me; I quit subscribing to the disturber many moons ago.

Ended up -3 today and -8 for the tournament, 7th place with still some teams on the course.

The front page lead-in was Wake leading the way in their regonal and then just below it, Charlotte at 8th heading into the final day. The inside story had Wake and then the Charlotte regional.

UVA and NCSU are the only teams with any chance of catching us, and theyâd have to really catch on fire. I think weâre safe.
Survive and advance!!! Congrats guys!!
EDIT: Thought everyone was finished up. Looks like we are in pretty good shape to hang on.
Va is 13 under par right now. If they hold that they will score a round of 272 today. The first two days they had rounds of 286 and 287. Hope they had independent scorekeepers.

clt asks why would you even expect charlotte to be mentioned.
clt says to all hail the almighty acc which is superior to all other conferences in all sports.

edit. are we the only nc team advancing? that means either no article. or an article buried on the last page that looks like it was a division 3 tournament.

I know Wake advanced for sure, not sure about any others.
