Wait does this mean we are actually opening our season at a regularly scheduled time? Last years early start wonât become a tradition??? I guess we have to wait and see if the women want to use Halton though right?
I agree with Jfelt 100 percent but 49er1 is wrong. Example 1: It is even easy to get a ticket in chapel hill when they are playing an unworthy opponent.
Example 2: Wake started off the 96-97 season ranked #2 in the nation with all seats sold out to season ticket holders (and students). Joel colisem was over half empty for games before conference play began.
Sorry dude, I said KY and KANSAS, not crapple hole or wake. Please read more carefully before you say someone is âwrongâ, or your credibility could be at risk.

We are opening our season with NC Central on Friday the 11th, probably a normal gametime.

They made it a 4:00 matinee for you last year, so you could see your HS football.

They didnât do it for him, or me, though Iâve railed for years about playing the opener on a Friday night. I still couldnât make the matinee and the HS playoff game from where I was, so I went to the playoff game. Hopefully this season we wonât have any suspensions to deal with. I still wonât be making it down if my high school alma mater reaches the 2nd round of the playoffs.
WTH kind of loser canât make a game because of HS games?
3 AM CMU game on ESPN, we should all be pretty drunk by then.
Playoffs>Season Opener. Itâs real simple. Only an idiot canât undersand that.

I can understand. If the Red Raiders were playing a home playoff game it would be a VERY tough decisions.

If youâre in your 30s, and still care about HS Football, youâre just begging for a life of misery.

Or you live in a small town. Small towns live and die by HS football.
Your comment also is the extension of the thought process of a college student when you are doing your best to distance yourself from your HS years. As you get older you realize that is a bunch of crap. Living in a small town, its a blast to go tailgate for the HS game, go to the game and then go to a bar and have a few drinks. The whole town is at the game and out and about after the game.

I agree to disagree, but will not debate opinions.
I still keep up with Trojan football⌠well, I check the scoresâŚ
âŚbut making it out to a game is about at the bottom of my priority list.
