Supica has a brother from another mother?
Yep, had to watch it again to make sure I saw that correctly!

Now know why Bamba is wearing #15 in that photo shoot vid. Supica has changed his number to #5 per the current roster. In addition, Bertram will wear #30 after being listed as #55 during his RS season last year.
Another one gone at WKU.
TJI: MBB season tix order forms are in the mail!
UTEP loses an incoming frosh from Houston who had signed during the early signing period and was already on campus. Gotta think it was a numbers issue.
This is what Rothstein said about the staff previously
Dooleyās not playing around this off season. To go along with the unprecedented roster changes and 8 players he cut, he demoted Potosnak who had coached at South Carolina and Auburn to a lower position he created on staff. He then hired a young coach with Grassroots AAU ties who founded his own AAU team that had 14 D1 players on it in the last year and a half. He also coached the high school JFK went to to there first ever playoffs and was at Providence for a couple years when they won the Big East.
The staff canāt be that great if Lebo isnāt on it.
Iām fairly certain you can spin almost any coaching staff to look amazing. Hereās just our head coach (not that he needs any spin, but still).
Ron Sanchez was the associate head coach on three-time coach of the year Tony Bennettās staff at Washington State and Virginia. He was primarily responsible for the recruiting of some of the highest profile players under Bennett, such as Klay Thompson. ESPN Insider listed him as one of the top recruiters in the nation and CBSSports listed him as one of the top assistants in the country. See, for example, Pete Thamelās comment that āheās the top assistant coach in the country.ā
Either way our team/staff pretty much looks a lot like what you would find at an AAC/P5 school now.
Dooley 2 NCAA/ 2NITās as a head coach, and top assistant at Kansas previously
Chillious: top assistant at Washington & UConn was also at Villanova
Roccaforte : top assistant at Virginia Tech where he LEFT to take lower position at ECU, also at USF, and Memphis with Cal
Potasnak: South Carolina, Auburn
Wright-Easy : big time AAU ties
Heck our 7th coach, the Assistant to the director of basketball ball ops worked 4 years with the Patriots. Weāve never even had this many coaches before. Created 2 positions extra.
Isnāt the AAC=P6?

New England Patriots?
Yes.
A four-year football operations summer intern with the New England Patriots, DeMasi spent the entire 2010 season with the organization and helped with both the logistical coordination of the teamās football operations and the day-to-day logistical needs of players and staff. Additionally, DeMasi was accountable for the organization and production of player/coach game plan books and playbooks. He also assisted with media resource projects, the research of player information, and the transportation of players and personnel.
Heās a young guy that was with Dooley at FGCU he brought with him and created a position for. Also an assistant at a D3 school for 4 years before that.
Dooleyās recent record at ECU is 10-21 with 3-15 with a loss to Charlotte. Until he wins it is just hype and blah blah blah.
All of these top coaches are coming to ECU because of the big bucks you have to fund the program.
I thought last year was terrible and Iām guessing by the unprecedented roster changes and demoting a coach that Dooley found it unacceptable as well. Honestly I donāt think this off season could have gone much better. The only thing that didnāt happen was landing Khadim Sy who we were in the top 3 for and the consolation was getting Colman for 4 years instead which might end up better in the longrun. I like where we are now and with Gardner and Robinson for 3 more years and this staff I think itās hard to bet against them moving forward donāt you?
The only reason it couldnāt have gone better is because you havenāt played a single game. Come back when this roster has done anything besides enroll in school.
