Why is CBS saying Davidson is such a lock for the Dance? Won a lot of games, but didn’t they do poorly against Quad 1 teams?
Seems as if I read that somewhere recently or am I wrong?
Seeing Davidson in pretty much across the board.
They did beat bama when they were top 10 I believe. Sometimes it just takes 1 marquee win and then not losing games you shouldn’t.

MTSU just lost the CBI tournament final to UNCW 96-90 in 2 OT after MTSU freshman Lenard put one of the UNCW players in a bear hug on a FT rebound and got called for an intentional foul.
Brutal way to lose a game. UNCW came back from a double digit deficit in regulation, I believe.
When I saw that Lenard had been called for a flagrant 1 with seconds left, figured that was it for MT. Biggest lead was 11 before UNCW rallied. Lenard did set the MT single season record for dunks with 50. Blue Raiders finish 26-11.

Lenard is the player I was riding hard, calling him “Poster” because he got posterized by Braswell.
We had a fun back and forth going during the game.
I watched the game. He got a foul called with .3 seconds left that allowed UNCW to tie with free throw. He did not foul the kid. Felt bad because he was vertical should have been no call.
Liked to have seen MTSU win.
Huh? I watched the game too… Lenard’s foul was on a rebound from a FT attempt. He stood behind his guy and criss crossed his arms across the guy’s chest and pulled him backwards. Not only did he foul him, he wanted to. The problem was that his coach didn’t and it was a flagrant because it was deemed a non basketball play or whatever goofy language they use.

Officiating aside, Hogs have made quite a turnaround since January to get to the Elite Eight. Even more impressive than Memphis.
