It’s kind of funny that none of our previous head coaches can get another HC job, but plenty of our previous assistants are getting them.
It appears as if UNC-CHeat is making a move to hire Hubert Davis.
Coupled with today’s earlier announcement of Ryan Odom to Utah State, all vacancies in the Mountain West now filled.
This is great news for Odom. Judy should have stuck with him as HC and we would be in a much better place.
Speaking of ADs who probably should have stayed with a coach, the Chris Ogden follow-up to Scott Cross at UT Arlington was short-lived and not particularly noteworthy. With the former returning to UT Austin as an assistant under Chris Beard, the Arlington AD’s desire to be the “next Gonzaga” looking like the same pipedream it was back in 2018!
