There used to be trees there hiding the scoreboard from the road.

We knew it was coming. This is good! Raises some questions:
What happens to old board?
Are we getting new board, or the old football board?
If we’re getting a new board, who gets the old football board?
I am trying to pretend that question isn’t potentially enormously important.
I’ve heard that the old board will be inducted into the Charlotte 49ers Athletics Hall of Fame in the 2023 class.
Brand new board.
Remember those days. Bring your own beer and sit on the hill to watch games. Nobody ever said anything.
I believe softball will be getting a new video board too. I think I heard that in one of the podcasts. They are also supposed to be breaking ground on the new softball clubhouse soon.
Getting kinda hyped for this season. Just over a month now.
