With Crapel Hill being currently ranked 49th, they are getting in no matter their conference tourney results. Even if all Cinderellaās won their conference tourneys, there would have to be a major catastrophe to occur for them not to get in. The way the NCAA always keeps teams like them in the field of 64 is to never hurt them in the regular season rankings no matter their losses. Keep them in the top 50 all year, you keep them within the margins. If they were in our conference with their current record under their blue blood name they would be much higher ranked than us. Itās not how you play the game, itās what your name isā¦ā¦.full stop.

My name is a sarcastic statement as I literally loathe the ACC. Come live in Raleigh with me and see everything ACC everywhere you motherfreaking go. Everything is Puke, Wolf Scat, Crapel Hill, etc. Everytime I drive to work, past RDU airport, I get to see where a Torehole team won a national championship some year previous is any sport they can find.
