I misread it! I read the contract was amended in 2017, and it was - but that was kicking the dates back a year. Not dropping a date.

If this schedule stands (probably won’t). We start the season at home in the summer heat then go a month without a home game.

The OOC schedule will likely stick. It has been set for a few years… the conference one… I have no clue… Hopefully the first two games are at night.

I probably will not go to the first two games unless they are at noon. What good is going to a September game unless we suffer miserably?
Imagine first game will be night game. Maryland is probably dependent on TV. Will go to Georgia state and def taking ambulance to SC. Another month of football.
10/29 game I hope stays away. Brother in law is getting married and I have to go to that. Not happy about that.
In many college football crazed places it is taboo to get married during football season.

Yeah so he’s marrying a girl from New England. They live in Georgia where is from and is a UGA guy and she picked the day of FL vs UGA

Who’s leaving
Another Big Ten team that saw high numbers exiting through the portal, Maryland has had 20 players transfer since November. That included former five-star linebacker Terrence Lewis and former ESPN 300 linebacker Branden Jennings.
Running backs Isaiah Jacobs and Peny Boone both entered the portal, as did linebacker Deshawn Holt and receiver Darryl Jones, among others.
Who’s coming in
Mike Locksley and his coaches added Florida wide receiver Jacob Copeland, who helps replace some of the production lost at the position. Linebacker VanDarius Cowan has joined the team from West Virginia and will also help with the loss of Jennings and Lewis.
With the number of players going out, though, Maryland still has quite a few holes left that it wasn’t able to replace through the portal.

Man! That is badass football schedule. We better have a team willing to outwork the world. This is why we wanted football, and games like beating Duke. I guess I will keep following one more year, that is so long as I can freely post in the EV thread
