And we lose 7-5…again, in the 9th, we were down 7-5 and Knight, Fisher and Madole go in order, 3 up, 3 down to end it…pretty crappy right there. Those BIG 3 go 2-15 ,on the night against freakin WK. …we need McCabe back and these other guys to step it up. They absolutely HAVE to take these next 2…after this weekend we play 9 of our next 10 away from Hayes, including the next 2 weekends on the road…we have not come close to doing what we needed to do on this 18 game homestand.

Top of the lineup just not getting it done again today
Up 3-1 now, but still missing opportunities. Had bases loaded and 1 out… no runs across.
Through 7 innings the top of the lineup has 1 hit in 13 at bats. Got to improve.
Furman after hitting safely in 16 straight games is on the verge of 2 straight with no hits. AK not doing much either.

Hey, im supporting them win or lose…but we certainly arent hitting on all cylinders yet and McCabe needs to get back…Hansen did a great job today though. One of the best outings of the year so far for our staff.

Great effort on the mound today from Lancaster and Hansen. Lancaster was battling through a leg injury but got through 3. Then we bring in Sunday’s scheduled starter Cam Hansen. He put up zeros the rest of the way, 6 strong innings.
We are still trying to find a groove offensively without McCabe, but pitching and defense carried us today. Glad to see it.
Tomorrow should be fun. I’d think almost everyone will be available to pitch except Goose, Lancaster, and Hansen.

What’s his injury? Dude seems like he is hurt a lot. Not to knock baseball but it’s not like he’s out there playing basketball or football. He must have that Tiger Woods back.
