UTSA bout to eliminate Southern Miss. UTSA up 9-2 in the eighth.

That something was consistent pitching. You have to have a killer lead pitcher and a shut down reliever. The others will follow suit and bring their game up. It was a good year but not good enough. Just wait till next year!!
I did say earlier, UTSA has an ace, we don’t.
I hate to say it…but between Geisting, Kramer, Hale and Lothes, we should have a couple aces providing they’re all back…"next year ".
Geisting has shown he can, but it took some tweaking. Had to have an opener and keep his innings down. One or two bad outings. He could be it. Kramer showed flashes too.
The pitcher who allowed La Tech’s walkoff hit tonight was #49. We really are a curse.

clt says injuries derailed this season

We were missing something. A bunch actually. Injuries took a significant toll this season. We battled through all season and had guys step up, but hard to overcome so many injuries to major pieces.
Lothes- arguably our best arm, lost for season with TJ
McCabe- arguably our best hitter, missed a huge chunk of the season with injury.
Knight- All-American talent, got injured early on but played through it all season. Certainly wasn’t 100%
Blake Jackson- starting outfielder, out for season after getting hit on the hand in our 1st conference weekend.
Evan Michelson- key bullpen arm, missed entire CUSA Season.
The offense put up some big numbers anyways but we slumped a little mid season.
If you add 50 Innings from Lothes & 15-20 innings from Michelson, this team likely wins the conference again this year. At worst, Top 3.
Despite all this, guys stepped up this year and we put together a great run down the stretch.

Am I correct that McCabe is draft eligible this year ?
Everyone in our starting line-up except for Cunningham & Hopson is draft eligible. Will be interesting to see how the draft plays out.

Yes. He’s eligible. I don’t do well with draft projections so I’m not sure what the pros think of our guys. Guess we will have to wait and see. I know Fisher, McCabe, Giesting, & Furman were recently featured in a scouting article from PBR/ D1 Baseball.
Neither ODU nor UTSA made the cut for the NCAA tournament. ACC has nine, including 4 hosting.
A10, as usual, is one bid, leaving out Davidson who lost the conference tournament at home after winning the regular season. Go Georgia Bulldogs! (#2 seed Chapel Hill region)
We were left out as well 
NC State made it to the ACC championship game yesterday in Charlotte, losing to UNC-CH. Pack among the first four out at with a #35 RPI and 13-15 record vs the NCAAT field, including 2-0 vs #8 seed ECU.
