Good Lord this lateral play…
When you preach run the damn football and we have an elite defense, you run the ball and play elite defense. Eventually, if the preaching wasn’t just hot air, those short runs eventually become longer and longer as you wear down a defensive. 11 had 2 runs for -25 yards, so we had that going for us
I just don’t how much I have left in me as a fan. If we can’t compete with GA State how are we going to compete with anyone else on our schedule?

Have you not seen the play calling difference when the two QBS are in there? I have no idea if he can spin the ball or not, but the coach calling the plays are not calling passing plays for Jones. Do you think Jones is calling run audibles?
We gave up 41 points to Georgia St last year as well, so how much better is our defense, total offensive yards last year 602, this year 571, at least last year we had the offense to keep pace with our inept defense

After 10 years of this, I’ve gotten to a stage in my life that I’m just starting to not care anymore. Sitting home today enjoying a relaxing day and not giving 2 $hits is sounding better every day. I think I’m starting to feel that I can support the NINERS without ever spending any money, time and resources in the future while relieving a hell of a lot of stress and saving alot of money in gas from Raleigh, hotels during late games, wear and tear on vehicles, and a much much saving on gear. I will always be a Niner but if this season doesn’t make a U-turn soon, this year will most likely be my last one. I’m OK with being a future lazy boy fan.

If Jones cant throw, how the hell did he win the starting job? I’m calling BS on this playcalling nonsense. What the hell happened to M Bowen? We actually saw two different types of plays called for each QB. That is not sustainable.

Why are you asking me? I am not a coach. I just watch the games. It is not playcalling nonsense. Jones has 5 more pass attempts this year as Ivey and he has been in the game 3 times as much. Why is that? Maybe one of the reporters following the team should ask.

That was an absolutely devastating loss. We had another excellent crowd and got dominated. Most of the crowd had left before the run was made.
This hurts because all of the buy-in into Biff from the general public is going to be tough to maintain now.
Too, what in the world are you doing calling a TO before going for it on 4th and one and then calling a WR sweep? That play set the tone for the whole night. That was as tough as loss as we’ve suffered in a long time.

While that was horrendous too, I fail to see how it’s the OCs fault that we chose to leave their WR uncovered on multiple plays? Or how the interior of our defense is as soft as squished bananas?
