You mean like a play action pass to a full back in the flat who slips and falls behind the line of scrimmage on dry field turf? In that case, they gave the ball to Robinson 3 times and they were 4th and 1. You who was really pissed about it? Robinson! Duh! Coaches lose games with dumbass calls like that one

Yeah, he also threw Ivey under the bus for the big sack losses. Granted, they were bad but he’s a Redshirt Sophomore with little game experience. When you are out there under pressure trying to make a play you make mistakes. He will learn from it but hopefully Biffs comments don’t ruin his confidence or run him off.

Two sacks for negative 25 yards were the coaches and Ivey’s fault. Pathetic. How about Ivey overthrowing a wide open receiver in the flat for a walk in n score? How about Ivey rolling right going out of bounds and THEN throwing the ball away for another big loss? How about chucking a deep pass to anyone in blue, then again…Coaches lose games but some players ain’t going to win them for you, no matter what.

I am 100% comfortable with Jalon Jones with all his strengths and limitations, so long if the coach calls the right plays for him. And sometimes, a punt is going to be the right play. It can be done, but requires discipline by the head coach and a defense that bends but doesn’t break (NO long TDs)

If Biff disagrees he should address it in private not in a post game press conference.

This is exactly what I am lamenting

I think that statement shows a disagreement between Coach and staff rather than players and staff. Obviously , Biff does not believe his staff put out a good game plan.

If you guys have never worked for or with a rich narcissistic buckle up and take notes. It will get worse if this season continues this way.

clt says the luuuuuuuttttzzz yell was awesome at halftime

The post conference was refreshing. It’s the exact opposite of Sanchez where it’s a learning experience of humility and we can use it to grow as human beings and I appreciate the experience. I don’t care about winning but the journey of life nonsense. He called out everyone because they all sucked. Will it backfire? Maybe. But it’s better than saying I let these guys down. People have to take responsibility. Otherwise it truly is the definition of insanity.

Poggi will either fix this or it will blow up and he leaves. If nothing else I’ll be glued to the tv set next Saturday to see if this guy has what it takes. If it’s another blowout, I’ll have the popcorn ready. In my mind, just get the stadium to 30k and everything else is gravy.

Welcome to Charlotte Biff. Just because you say you want something to go a certain way doesn’t mean that is going to happen. It takes a lot of work and usually some good luck for things to go well in Charlotte Athletics. Unity and leadership during adversity is what is needed here. Not sure that is a trait he possesses. It is all fun and games until the losses start piling up.

We had a qb like that in Williams & apparently ran him off in favor of Jones. But it really doesn’t matter if they don’t fix whatever was wrong with the defense yesterday. That was so disappointing. Really thought this defense would be a huge strength after all the hype. Didn’t look any better than Healy’s defense yesterday.

We have allowed 1093 total yards and 79 points in our only 2 FBS games…this may be worse than Healy’s defense.

And Healy was doing it with 2 star talent
Biff has a cupboard full of former 4 star P5 transfers

Just unfathomly bad.

Stop making sense!!! lol

If youre talking about Iveys interception…no, it was NOT into double coverage.

not the record that I was hoping to start with. but its the first season a of a first year head coach so I suppose it should have been expected from the start so I cant hit the panic button even if I wanted to.

The defense seemed to not have played as well as last week which was a disappointment but I dont see a reason why they cant fix that by the time conference play starts. as for the offense I dont see that getting better this season. I believe they needed to try to lure in better qb’s but they weren’t able to get that done. which I suppose given our history is understandable since good qb’s likely dont want to take the risk of player here yet. If I’m biff I would likely take the week to try to figure out which one of the two is the better game manager and try to build the run game around that. the question shouldn’t be which qb is the more dynamic player that can win me the game, but rather which one is more likely to follow the game plan and not likely loss the game because of some dumb turnover because he wanted play like rex grossman. the chosen qb needs to playing more like first year russell wilson on the seahawks who understood that first and foremost that the best rb on our team is the number one threat on the team and he needs to to what he can to make sure that that guy gets the ball to score and not loss it on dumb mistakes.

clt says let’s bet on black!

We are not getting pressure consistently from our edge rushers, other than #0. I swear I think 96 had a sack in the 3rd and pulled up a bit instead of crushing the QB. First Down!

What I really can’t comprehend is how receivers are getting so wide open deep. Like 10 yards beyond any defender with no safety help even close. If our guys give up first downs on passes, but consistently tackle the catch, then eventually the offense will make a mistake. A fumble, an interception, incomplete passes, sacks, are all impossible if a 60 yard to 90 yd drive is one pass. This is coaching and scheme

Look at our rushing stats through three games. If you remove QB Jalon Jones our longest run play is 18 yards. How are going to win games running the football like this?

The last staff and this staff seem to love to run Byrd yet the production on the field never materializes.

I remember seeing 3 LBs in when Georgia State was running 4 WR sets. A few times the 4th WR was a RB and the LB was on him, but others it was not. I believe one of the deep passes was when a LB was up against a WR. There should be safety help in that instance.

Pressure on the QB was also a big problem. It seemed like we did not try to put any pressure on him.

To me, these 2 issues go directly back to the coaches and not the players.
