Jacks demise is mind boggling.
We are currently in the middle of our toughest part of the schedule (VT, ODU, LT, DBU). The conference blessed us with the toughest 2 teams in the league as our week 1 & 2 opponents. LaTech had our number last year, so I’d love to go down and grab a road series in our last trip to Ruston ever. LaTech just split 2 games vs Air Force at home during their mid-week games.
Next week we host DBU and then after that the schedule gets easier. If we can be 3-3 in the league by next Sunday, we will be in really good shape.
Is Evans hurt?
No. He pitched last Saturday in relief.

Lothes never was a starter to be honest. He was a bullpen guy in 2021.
He hasn’t been the same since coming off injury. Looks like he’s lost some weight. Hopefully he’s still working his way back and he will be able to contribute.

I think you are downplaying the importance of Marquee games here.
We still have SC and ECU uptown. If we get drilled by both of those in front
of nice crowds, hard to complain about getting the fanbase engaged.
We all hate to admit it, but these games move the needle.
Have to beat these guys in front of our fans to ever get some respect.
When you go uptown for the ECU game you will get a good look at a fanbase that truly supports their program. Their fans make plans, our fans make excuses. That’s the way it always has been and always will be.
They took over our stadium when they came here in 2020 while most of our fans sat at home complaining on the internet.

He has not. Tony had surgery at the end of last season and he’s still working his way back. Not sure how close he is.

TBH, I would rather win the ECU game than win the series against
