I believe that the CUSA rep is the head of the committee this year. Hopefully thatās a good thing.
If we get left out this year, then the whole selection process is a shame. We shouldnāt have to win the conference tourney this year after the year weāve had.

Weāve had a VERY good year and certainly deserve a bidā¦but at some point weāve got to take the decision out of a committeeās hands.
People hate when I say we āPull a Ninerā but we did it again. Even after losing to NT all we had to do was beat MTSU to get to the title game. MTSU was barely over a .500 team in Conf play and we are the #1 Seed Conf Champsā¦and yet we managed all of 4 hits to go with 3 errors.
Against MTSUā¦with a Title shot on the lineā¦Thatās āPulling a Ninerā
Was hoping Softball would start a new trend when it comes to āPulling a Ninerāā¦but not as of yet.

Not ALL of us appreciate his posts 
On the final day of the regular season with the regular season championship on the line, we beat UAB by 11-3. The championship was also on the line for them. On that same day, North Texas was at home to play MTSU. The championship was also on the line for the Mean Green and they lost. Yea, I was surprised and disappointed by our teams performance yesterday. Baseball and softball may be the least predictable sports for any one game.

MTSU is giving North Texas all they want and more today. Last I checked the game was tied at 1-1

It was a realistic snapshot at us crapping the bed in the Conf Tourneyā¦which is a fact.
We lost our last 2 games in the Tournament with a total of 2 hits in Gm 1 and 4 hits in Gm 2ā¦and a combined 4 errors in the 2 games.
If we are a bubble team and we want to make the NCAA tourneyā¦thatās not a way to impress a committee. Sorry if those facts are not pleasing to your eyesā¦theyāre still facts.

I had observations that declared the quick tourney exit a disappointment considering how good the season was, our ranking coming in and the fact that we played poorlyā¦ALL FACTS.

MTSU up 3-2 in the 12th inning, 2 outs away. They have made an unbelievable run through this tournament.
EDIT: MTSU won the tourney in 12 innings 3-2.

I guess our resident expert will now say that North Texas is a bunch of chokers. He probably supports the Mean Green about the same amount as he supports our team.
Thatās one less at large bid, which is bad for us.

I guess I do need to do better. I was trying to explain to you that the ladies came through in the clutch when it counted once and that softball is not a predictable sport when it comes down to one game. I do not have the capability to make the point any simpler. Sorry.
It is obvious that winning the tournament is better than losing. Was there some other point you wanted to make or did you just want to get in phrases ācrapping the bedā and āpulling a Ninerā as if you are personally offended by the team losing? Trust me when I say they feel way worse about it than you do. I invite you to support our softball team financially and by attending.
I support the softball program more than you realizeā¦and i know THEY take losing the Tourney harder than anyoneā¦BECAUSE THEY WOUL ALSO AGREE WITH MY TAKE.
Iām not offended at allā¦and im proud of their season. Athletically the best season of any sport not named golf or track & field. The fact that i cant discuss a disappointing tournament without being called names or deemed offended or that im āpissingā on the team is outrageous.
I just said they missed an opportunity and choked on a stage. Which they didā¦ and i promise they agree. Because THEY are not snowflakes like many in this forum are.
