2024 AAC MBB Tournament March 13-17, Dickies Arena, Fort Worth, Texas (ESPN/ESPN/ESPN+)

2 are right there - NT & SMU (bye-bye).
4 more are all about the same distance and single digit hours drives. They may all fall outside of “reasonable enough” for the trip.

Once Jayhawks exited, attendance is toast

Some of the small still regional conferences have better looking crowds in their tournaments than the big nationwide conferences do now. Total attendance might be less, but the arenas look more full.

How many times have the baskets needed repairs at this tournament? I’ve seen twice paying mild attention. Priorities are out of whack when you are at some highfalutin venue and the dang baskets can’t withstand regular player interaction. :deciduous_tree: :basketball:

Not sure why the locals would come; Texas Tech playing Houston & Texas AM beating Kentucky all on TV .

New Orleans or somewhere/anywhere in Florida this time of year would be a good location.

Always good to be in Nola.

Just have to find a city/location willing to pay to get this tourney.

As an fyi, Chick Filet bowl/ preseason game is so successful they have a full time staff.

Orlando makes more sense to me. Several other places too.

UAB about to take down USF.

Yep. The parts of the game I saw had USF complaining quite a bit to the refs. Poor babies . They lost but their coach looked dapper

Probable CUSA final for all the haters in AAC about additions.

IMO, we weren’t going to beat FAU a second time. Fearne’s a good coach, but not a miracle worker.
Off topic, I also believe this is the last year FAU is going to be good.
