We had shown interest when he was at A.L. Brown HS in Kannapolis but never offered. Started off at Charleston Southern before going JUCO at Indian Hills.
Had been keeping an eye on this because Smith had Davidson in the mix. In the end, heading back “home” prevailed, even if it means sitting out next season. Definitely would have been the Cats starting PG in what’s looking to be a very good top half A-10.
Niners had contacted him in 2023 when he entered the portal while at South Carolina.

Yep, back to App. Actually, didn’t enter the portal - just did the NBA evaluation thing.
This App MBB announcement was posted last week, so looks like Huntley and Threadgill were planning on spending their “Super Senior” year as teammates once again. Gotta wonder if they considered doing that as Niners instead of Mountaineers.

This will be the fifth school for the vagabond hoopster. Had plenty of suitors - including within the AAC - but gotta think “final” landing spot dictated by academic transcript factors:

He’ll probably take a course on ETSU alum Skeeter Swift’s career in the ABA.
That would be a useful course credit. Skeeter had some great sideburns.
