I liked Oguche in the exhibition. I don’t think he scored a lot, but he looked capable. He stuck out because he comes in cold off the bench and the first trip down court, he buries a 3.
We have a lot of options on this team. I don’t envy Fearne having to keep them happy with playing time.
Just for reference. Preseason ISU picked to finish #8 or #9 in the MVC (depending on the source). Basically says they have good size and can score but need to improve defense to move up in that league.
The Missouri Valley Conference chose to only release a Top 5 instead of a full MVC Preseason Poll this season.
