Finishing 3rd in the conference after the offseason we had is beyond impressive!!
Ashley was a great hire and she took us to unprecedented levels of success. She raised the standard and the expectations for the program.
Courtney took over with 8 weeks to go until school started, and reloaded the roster. We had 5 players and 0 staff when she got here. The portal was pretty much picked through at that point but she brought in some high level talent. I’m excited to see what they do with a full recruiting cycle.

…and yet there is, in my opinion , little chance Courtney will be recognized as Coach of the year by the AAC. Even without green tinted glasses, its obvious she deserves that.

Looks like we will be playing EZU tomorrow. They have a powerful lineup and sometimes good pitching. Prediction: we walk them off in the bottom of the 7th

ECU knocks us out of tournament 4-3. We just do not have a good go to pitcher. Nevertheless, better than average season for what the coach had to work with

Crazy ending.
They scored 3 earned runs on 4 hits. Coach left Bowling in too long (again). Jenna hits one against the wall and their kid hits one barely over the wall. Savannah doesn’t shift her feet properly and fails to catch a throw that wasn’t really that bad. She isn’t really a first baseman, Their pitcher (Tim Apple’s daughter) pitched well. The silver lining is ECU’s coach got tossed in the bottom of the seventh. Shame to leave the tying and winning runs stranded in scoring position. If we recruit decently and can pay Jenna enough to keep her, we could be really good next season.
