I am interested in getting 2 tickets to the App State game. Any sales through our ticket office? Am I too late? Hotels crazy?
Also, what’s parking like for a game at App?
Last App game the parking situation was awful. Get there early and be prepared to walk.
The season starts next month!
You can call the charlotte ticket office and order. Seats are based on rankings. Parking is awful. I am working with an App alumni for parking pass
Well, I just got to 6-2 after beating Tulane at home in a dog fight. Only two losses are @ Ole Miss and @ App State. Running with Loftis as as my starter too.
A couple of years ago when we went up the mountain (Chris Reynolds was QB), we parked in a handicap lot and rode a bus shuttle to the stadium. They pick you up after the game and return to the same lot. It made it a lot easier, but you must have a handicap parking tag.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn and rode the city bus into campus. Not sure if we had to transfer or not. In any event, I’m pretty much done with away games.

Will say that I personally do not like using starting players at kick returner. Too easy to get injured and then we are out a KR and a WR/RB/DB. Seeing Barnes and Eley on that list did not make me happy. I also don’t want to use any of our front line RBs. But at least we have several options.
That’s a very interesting interview. It seems as if the front 7 are pretty well set, but who gets the most playing time at DB remains to be seen. When they talk about who is going to be playing at DB, it always seems that a whole lot of names come up. Gill, Womack, and Clinkscales always come up, but the other two starters and all the backups need to be settled this fall.
I feel like the defense is going to be better for many reasons:
In the end, I’m not concerned about the defense. I think it will be good. My only concern is the offensive line. The RB, QB, and receivers will all be good. If the line can protect the QB and make holes, the offense will work. If they can’t… well, the offense will bear resemblance to last year, and I don’t want to see that offense ever again.
The biggest/most important thing I have heard is how much faster we are overall. Couple that with bigger linemen and I think we may be alright. All the pieces have to fall into place but I really believe Coach Albin can pull this off. I believe we can surprise some teams. But I am the eternal optimist. Go Niners!
Same video as on the 2026 American Football thread, but this is a direct link to the Charlotte portion.
As the season grows closer, I find myself (pick all that apply):
Oops, I meant to allow more than one vote. Now that I have posted it, I don’t know how to change it, sorry.

And to think that was supposed to be a home game.
Seeing a lot of posts here lately where the article or what ever, is showing in a white rectangle as “Not Found!”
So what game are you referring too? The ole Miss game?
