Seems a very newsworthy departure from option/inside zone offense Albin ran at Ohio. Fitch has been OC mostly for Skip Holtz his career, so far more experience at pro style offense.

Greg Brown was not a good hire. Some classic interviews that demonstrated out of touch he was.
Healy didnโt remove West at the end of the season and his options became extremely limitedโฆ good chance his indecision cost him his jobโฆ for Healy it was a valuable lesson that might get him to a power 4 job if he can have 2 successful seasons at ETSU.
One of Wills biggest challenges was his age. Being so young I donโt think he had the network to hire from thus hiring friends vs contacts nor did he have the balls to fire those friends.
Dont think Albin has that issue

I personally think Healyโs issue was he wanted to be friends and popular with the players. I fucking hated Club Lit, whatever the hell that was.

He fired a proven S&C coach (Durning) and brought in someone that was totally out of his league. Iโm sure Albin has the upmost confidence in his guy to let Lou go. Gonna be super important to build up the guys coming in to be ACC worthy.
I have to agree. CLUB LIT was an embarrassment. Made us sound like a bunch of idiots. Doesnโt lit mean high?
Just play football, donโt act like a 3 yard run is something special, donโt dance around like fools when you make a tackle, etc. I always thought players should act as if these type plays were expected and not an aberration. But I am old so what the hell.
I donโt think he ever called plays though. This guy is different he has been the main OC at a ton of schools
While โlitโ can mean intoxicated, also used to describe something thatโs very good, impressive, or exciting. Kids being kids plus some - Healy, Eustachy, and Meyer immediately come to mind - who are apparently kids at heart!
I am glad our staff has filled out well but Iโm hoping they officially announce these soon
Healy and club lit would have been awesome and would have been a perfect gimmick for the right attentionโฆ if we won games.

Yeah Hoot but you are an Old Skool MFer who played for hard ass country coaches who you still respect up to this day. Does not work for the kids today which Chapel Hill will soon find out but I gotta go someone is on my lawn!!!
