Just wanted to comment that at my work here were are finishing up the new press box project out there for them. Theyāre really going to need it now. Hopefully this win will mean theyāre gonna want us to do some more work for them in the near future.
I disagree w/ the guy who says not to lose to LR. While I donāt think it will happen, as my parents went to LR, I hope ASU loses this game, & then wins the rest.

I would like for App to lose to LR. I donāt have anything against App. Their win was great, but wouldnāt it be great for LR to beat them? Is LR D-1? I donāt think they are.
LR>App>Michigan
Transitive Property
go LR!!!
LR is Div II IIRC
Here are some of the pics I took from the gameā¦

Still, Peacock thinks the victory struck a blow for University of North Carolina system colleges not located in Chapel Hill or Raleigh.
āWe might not be flagships, we might not be big schools,ā he said. āBut whatās going on at campuses like Appalachian, UNC Charlotte, UNC Wilmington, UNC Greensboro and the rest are all deserving of attention.ā

The worst part about App getting all this attention this week has been listening to Yankees slaughter the pronunciation of the word Appalachain.
Its Ap-A-latch-n, not Ape-a-lay-chen. Iāve also heard other ways that are worse.
App State up 48-0 going into the 4th quarter.
This is without playing armanti edwards (concern about a injury and not wanting to risk him against LRC)
Most the major players were taken out at half.

Well LR is DII, App went from one extreme (top 5 DI-A) to the other (DII).

app wins 48-7 all their starters were out at half.
App went undefeated last year in their division 2 games, if they do the same will they be in the top 25?
App went undefeated last year in their division 2 games, if they do the same will they be in the top 25?
that was their 16th straight win
My point was they just made it possible this week to let the AP voters vote for 1AA teams, so I guess when the polls come out next week App could have gotten some votes.
Appalachianās best shot to be in the top 25 was last week. Even being undefeated wonāt help much since their SOS would drop as the season wore on. The voters would have no idea who most of the Southern Conference teams are (other than the few that may vote from this area). Now with Michigan being on life support after the Oregon loss, the Mountaineers will like just be another team receiving votes this week.
Appy will get some votes, but I think there are enough reasonable sports writers out there that they will not land in the top 25āespecially in light of the Oregon man handling of Michigan.
app gets 19 votes. They are ahead of Cincy, Florida State, Kansas, Iowa, Purdue.
They are the highest ranked team in North Carolina,

I think App should play ECU for the NCC (North Carolina Championship). They are the best 2 teams in the state.

I emailed āMike and Mikeā on ESPN radio about that hatchet job.

At what point does the App win at Michigan become less āspecialā?

I was watching the game with some family and we were excited for Appā¦but we also kept in mind that Michigan sucks. After they got throttled my Oregonā¦It cemented it for me a little more.
