From what Iāve seen the last two games (and 2 years for that matter), Ian still seems like heās running in place as far as his progression as a player is concerned.
dp
As an additional note, NC State led them by 2 at half last night. We were up a mere 41 at the half.
So, we beat them worse than we did Eddieās senior year?
Interesting.
This team looks to be extremely well balanced. I cant wait to see them in person.
Dijaun had 5 more steals, thatās 12 in 2 games, I love that! He also had 4 assits and only 1 TO.
Of course, it was York, so no need to get real giddy yet, but the guys seem to be playing great so far. I canāt wait to get to see them in action myself.
Another solid line for Harris, 8 pts (3-4 fg), 4 asst, 1 to, 1 block(!!), 5 steals in 20 min. Gerrity had a few more toās than Iād like but put some points up and overall his line looked good too, 15 pts (6-7 fg), 4 asst, 3 to, 1 steal. Thatās great #'s for our pgās. Shamarr and Javarris both had great nights, Iām excited to watch these two. Just based on the box scores, Javarris is 7-11 in two games (to go w a total of 12 boards). I know this isnāt DI competition, but thatās impressive for a redshirt freshman. Jim, is Javarris playing sg or more sf? And another good game for big Phil!
I love that this team is working on pressing and pushing tempo, weāre a lot of fun to watch and getting very good at it. I just hope weāre working on our half-court sets as well. Cant wait to watch these guys play!!
have most of Barnettās points come from jumpers or playing inside? Have you heard Jim?
Amazing to hear our guys are performing strong up in Canada. I hope tomorrow has similar results. Sounds like coley, phil, and the new guys are really performing. Glad to hear Mikey-māfin-G is playing well. I am however a little concerned about mack, doesnāt sound like heās playing like last year? Is he completely rehabbed from his surgery?

I donāt think that is really saying much, itās not like State is going to be a contender this year.
I was wondering about Lamont too. His percentage looks pretty poor. Weāve seen the box score, but havenāt heard about the style of play. Is half court offense looking good? Have we been pressing?
Got a mention in Goodmanās foxsports.com blog.
Although he suspiciously leaves out the scores of our games, understandable since 64 pt wins happen so often.

worth a read, also mentions teams we play this year: Tulsa, Southern Illinois, and potentially Cal State Fullerton.
Virginia actually lost a game while they were thereā¦gotta love the mighty ACC.

24 second clock is likely contributing to the pace
According to Sheridanās website, we won 109-55. No box or write up yet.
Their previous results were a loss to PSU 83-65 and a loss to ETSU 89-75. Iām starting to wonder if weāre not going to be welcome in Canada anymore.

Yep, pretty impressive run in Canada:
ETSU 89 Sheridan 74 *we beat them today 109-55
Penn State 85 Sheridan 66
Average margin of victory was 49.0 (ironic)
Average pts scored 106.7

Is college going to 24 sec. clock?
Is college going to 24 sec. clock?
No, they were playing under Canadian rules or something like that. They were also able to goal tend after the ball the hit the rim.

I like to hear the comments from Lutz about the guys being unselfish. I would love to see some more passing this year for easy baskets. Also, good to hear guys are getting good touches inside. THOSE ARE THE TWO AREAS WE"VE CLEARLY BEEN LACKING FOR THE PAST 3 OR 4 YEARS.

Good idea to go there Jeff Jones, better hope the NIT committee has mercy this year.
