I hate prevent defense. Generally seems to prevent the team doing it from winning.

Tonight made me seriously and negatively question the 5-year QB option. It’s a damn shame we helped Chicago for the #1 pick and we net these results 4 years after. Hell, Mendoza looks like he might be on par with the Top 10 NFL QB’s right now, and maybe closer to the Top 5. Tepper sold out for a 5’8 QB.

Why you blaming Young? He did more than well enough to win that damn game. Some bad WR routes and Hubbards hands hurt him. Prevent on their last drive was just maddening to watch

Xavier Legette and Keon Coleman should swap teams to see if they have success. Panthers and Bills always trade together.
X does not have football passion. Reminds me of Kelvin Benjamin. Has all of the physical tools, just don’t think he has a passion for the game or a desire to be great.
Can’t be surprised, If you are a Clt Forty-niner and Panther fan, when we took the lead in the 4th Q we all knew how this was going to end.

Apparently, you didn’t watch many Panthers games this season. They won more close games than anyone.
Man. Lots of things. How about missing a wide open Hubbard in the flat , and smiling about it. That last drive was not at all what a #1 overall picked QB SHOULD look like with a 5th year option pending. I get there wasn’t much time left or hope, but Jeez, that was JV QB play

I guess we watched different games. Hubbard shoulda caught the ball in the flat and Coker caused the int by stopping on the route. 31 pts should win you a home game

Every bit of this. I don’t think Young is an elite starter but he is FAR from our biggest problem. He made a bunch of good throws yesterday. We lost because of Horne going down followed by Evero / Canales calling prevent against a QB who I swear runs slower than my old ass does. He’s a statue back there. Pressure him. WTF were they thinking?
I’m not sold on the play calling either, Canales.
Also agree with the XL criticism. He is never going to pan out, it seems. TMac and Coker are both clutch though. Future stars.

Extending Bryce vs is he the problem are not the same conversation. I dont think he was the issue yesterday. Whether you pick up the $27M option for 2027 is a different conversation. That’s a business decision about ROI vs Cap space.

Question is who you gonna get? I’m a Raider fan first so I guess they draft Mendoza but I’m not sold him. There’s only a handful of what I consider really good QBs around.
