Charlotte 49ers Athletic Facilities Master Plan discussion

WHORE’S BLADDER!

Make the study public now!

Releasing to the public too early could give other schools a chance to maneuver around us during any conference shift discussions.

What would Judy do?

It’s also not prudent to put something out when it isn’t ready. Have the behind door discussions with those that need to know and then, when finalized, go live with it.

Healy said in the radio interview it would be released in a couple of weeks. That may not be public but at least it will be done. Hopefully get some leaks if not public

No real use to release it premature at this point since the AAC is probably going to stand pat. I say right before the Clemson, something good to talk about with a lot of people watching.

I would think now honestly would be a good time if we have a donor plan. Definitely before our first home game. My thought process is to show the city how serious we are about getting better, to make the demand for tickets greater. Then I would think it would give the boost to recruiting. It would immediately take away the other schools being able to use our stadium against us.

I think ticket sales have been up this season, would be cool to continue capturing that momentum with an announcement like that.

If In Hill We Trust, he will make pertinent announcements at the appropriate time. RELAX.

clt is hearing FB ticket sales are pacing very well

can’t stand seeing pictures of us playing on an article and the stands are fully empty.

Could the Panthers indoor practice bubble be handed over to the Niners when they move to Rock Hill?

49ers will have indoor facility

Is it being discussed anywhere besides here?

If the answer to that is no than then answer to will we get this bubble is no too.

clt says that bubble is ours. look at the color of the grass

Given that we are obviously working closer with the Panthers I would imagine this has at least come up.

I also this would be kept quiet and we wouldn’t know about it until its time. The only question I have is what is the life span of these type facilities?

At the Panthers facility, several years. On a college campus, probably about a 1/3 of normal. Kids would find a way to make a slide out of it.

Carrier Dome in Syracuse has been around a long time. I assume this type of bubble can last many years.

This may relate to the facilities master plan, it may not, but it does highlight a facilities need. The baseball coaching staff has moved their offices from the Wells Fargo fieldhouse into one of the suites at the Hayes. I’m not sure how they have it configured but their offices are in the Joe Lopez Suite side of the Hayes. With the space from the old offices, I believe they are expanding the space in the fieldhouse for the baseball players.

Currently Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Softball and Baseball share the Wells Fargo Fieldhouse.

Since we’ve been told before that there is little room to expand Wells Fargo Fieldhouse, I wonder if new offices could be incorporated into an eventual Indoor Practice Facility structure?
