The league should make a rule that the last 2 teams cannot pick within the top 3 picks. That would actually make the end of season a little more interesting maybe.

Hornets playing on channel 9 OTA!!

Sprained ankle and out for rest of the game.

First quarter did the Buzz in.as they outscored LAL 88-73 rest of the way.

I tried hard to watch the game but it is just not good basketball. I have no idea what constitutes a travel, a legal pick or what a foul is in the NBA game. Just appears to be chunk a 3, or go one on one and throw it up.
If NCAA does not start having college officials follow the rule book we are destined for a college game that is as unwatchable as the NBA game. Great athletes but no D.

Just one old man who loved the 80s NBA game.

I went to the Pelicans game and I could swear Micic exclusively travels but it’s never called. I was shocked they called LeBron’s double dribble the other day though.

I thought it was very exciting and entertaining basketball. Okogie is literally my favorite player right now. Bridges was electric when the ball was in his hand too. Williams just needs to clean up his decision making on defense; he’s played well on offense before but it wasn’t his night against the Lakers.

I actually couldn’t disagree with you more. That game was much more exciting that any NCAA game I’ve seen this year.

Yep, AD definitely not good basketball.

Parish, Shaq, Laimbeer and the Chief would have hammered him into submission before he ever got to 40 points. He also travels on almost all of his ā€œpost upā€ moves.
Great athlete but when no one plays defense till the last 5 minutes of a game, not worth watching. Again just my opinion

Well, Parrish was Chief first of all. And it’s a complete myth that the game was a physical, beat ā€˜em up game in the 80’s and 90’s. I’m 58 and that was right in my wheelhouse and the talking heads on TV now just lie about it. The game has changed, lots of 3’s jacked now which opens the court that they always fail to say.

Athletes now are just bigger, stronger and faster than back in my days.

Yes, the Pistons and Knicks were dirty as hell, but the league as a whole wasn’t. McHale took out Rambis in a famous play but if you go back and watch the Celtics and Lakers in the day it was cool as hell hoops to watch.

Snap. I knew Parish (one R) was Chief…senior moment. Celtics were my favorite team in the 80s-90s. Bird is my all time favorite. He would average 50 given the rules of today. Jordan would be in the 40s.

I also agree that the three point shot has opened up the court more and allows more drive. I just don’t get enjoyment watching a 3 point chunking contest or one on one drills.
Unfortunately college game is going that way fast as well. The screen and holds or screen and push is rampant in the game and is illegal per current rules, but the college refs are letting it go.
To ME, the game is just not as much fun to watch.

I totally agree the game isn’t as much fun to watch. Pro or college

Tell that to the approximately 1 million steals Okogie had on the game
